Lately we've been asked quite frequntly about our day to day business down here and we realized that we never shared about the daily base activity. SO here it is.
We are up at 6:00 and walking down to the base for breakfast from 6:30 to 7:00
From 7:00 to 8:00 is a time used for individual study/devotions
At 8:00 we meet as an entire base for either worship or intercession
Lectures for the DTS start around 9:30 and run through until 1:00
Lunch is from 1:00 to 2:00
From 2:00 to 4:00 is either work duties around the base or ministry. The ministries we participate in range from childrens ministry to fixing/cleaning peoples homes (really shacks) in the community.
Supper is at 5:30
Two or three times a week we will meet at 7:00 for ministry or planning meetings depending on the things we have coming up
Weekends are usually free. We use this time to go down to the beach, read for class, check out different places in and around town, church on Sunday mornings (we've been to a bunch of different churches), laundry, cleaning our room etc
